Smarten Your Start Menu

June 9th, 2006 by hartanta

Make your start menu more powerful by adding numbered shortcuts.

  1. Create a new shortcut, for example to MS Word.
  2. Rename it to “1 - Word” and drag it onto your start menu.
  3. Now, when you want to start Word, push the Windows Key, then 1.
  4. Add more frequently used applications as needed.

How You Can Get Unlimited Disk Space For Free!

June 9th, 2006 by hartanta
1) Signup for a free hosting account at 5gigs.com
2) Once you get your login information login to your cpanel
3) Go into the file manager and go into the folder .cpanel-datastore
4) Open the file quota_-v
5) Select all the contents and paste this over it:

Disk quotas for user note (uid note):
Filesystem blocks quota limit grace files quota limit grace
/dev/hda6 4 0 0 0 0 0
/dev/hda5 23100 0 0 0 0 0
/dev/hda2 0 0 0 0 0 0
/dev/hda3 0 0 0 0 0 0

save the file and refresh your cpanel…it should now say you have Unlimited MBs! You can also try editing the other quota files for parked domains and such…have fun!

note: You MUST keep your username and uid intact or you have undesired and unknown results from the modification
